Org charts in Pipedrive in 2026: every option, honestly assessed

Pipedrive has no native org chart at any plan tier. Here is every way to map a buying committee in Pipedrive in 2026, what each one costs, and which tools do not integrate at all.

If you sell complex deals on Pipedrive, you have almost certainly hit this wall: you have eleven people associated with one organization, three of them matter, and there is nowhere in Pipedrive to say which three or how they relate to each other.

The Pipedrive community forums have threads asking for an org chart feature going back years. Pipedrive has no native org chart at any plan tier, from Essential through Enterprise, and there is no indication that is changing.

The good news is that the shortlist is short, which makes the decision quick. The bad news is that a lot of what turns up when you search is not actually an org chart tool. This guide covers what genuinely works, what does not integrate at all, and where the trade-offs are.

If you run HubSpot, the situation there is different and we covered it separately in how to build org charts in HubSpot in 2026.

First, what Pipedrive gives you natively

Before adding anything, it is worth knowing what you can already do. Not much, but not nothing.

  • Related organizations. Pipedrive supports parent, daughter, sister and related organization links. This gives you structure between companies, which is useful for group accounts and subsidiaries. It gives you nothing about people.
  • Custom person fields. You can create fields like "Reports to", "Buying role" or "Sentiment" on the Person object and populate them yourself. This is genuinely worth doing regardless of which tool you pick, because it makes the data reportable and filterable. We wrote a step-by-step for this in transforming Pipedrive for complex B2B strategy.
  • Labels and filters. Colour-code people, filter lists by role.

Where it breaks down. There is no visual output. A dropdown that says "Champion" on a person record does not tell a rep, at a glance, that they have four champions and nobody in Finance. Structure without a picture is a report, not a map.

Best for: teams who want reportable stakeholder data and will accept that reading it is a manual exercise.

Option 1: vizrm

vizrm is the org chart tool built for Pipedrive, and as of 2026 it is the only one in the marketplace purpose-built for it rather than ported from Salesforce.

The chart opens in the left sidebar panel of the Pipedrive Organization record, so it sits where reps already work rather than in a separate tab. You drag Pipedrive persons into a hierarchy using the org chart builder, and every change writes straight back to Pipedrive. Related organizations are handled natively, so parent, sister and subsidiary structures render as one connected picture rather than five separate charts.

Beyond the hierarchy:

  • [Placeholders](/blog/placeholders-for-unknown-decision-makers) hold a spot for a role you know exists, like "CFO, to identify", without creating a fake person record in Pipedrive. This is how you map the whole committee before you have met the whole committee.
  • Groups cluster people into Procurement, IT, Finance and so on, which is what makes an eighty-person account readable.
  • Informal relationship lines capture influence that does not follow the reporting line, labelled and colour-coded.
  • [Engagement heatmaps](/features/analytics) colour the chart by Pipedrive activity data, so a decision maker who has gone quiet for three weeks is visible in one glance rather than one report.
  • Activities and deals on the chart. Create and complete Pipedrive activities from the chart, and filter it to a specific deal to answer "are we actually multi-threaded here" in about two seconds.
  • [LinkedIn integration](/features/linkedin). The vizrm browser extension creates and updates matched Pipedrive persons from any LinkedIn profile in one click, and logs LinkedIn messages and connection requests as Pipedrive activities. This is usually where the missing stakeholders come from.

What it costs. Basic is €22.90 per user per month, Professional €29.90, both published on the pricing page. Fourteen-day trial, no credit card. Only users who need the chart require a licence, not every Pipedrive seat.

On data. vizrm reads from Pipedrive and renders the chart in your browser. It does not hold a copy of your CRM data in its own database, and it is hosted in the EU. The security page has the detail, which is worth reading if you have a procurement review ahead of you.

Best for: Pipedrive teams running multi-stakeholder deals who want the account map inside the CRM and staying current without anyone maintaining it as a separate chore.

"We needed an easy way to visualize org charts in Pipedrive and vizrm came to the rescue! Simple, quick, and highly recommended!" — Denny Rinert, VP Enterprise Sales, Plainsight

Option 2: The Org, and the question everyone asks

Does The Org integrate with Pipedrive? No.

We get asked this often enough that it deserves a direct answer. The Org maintains the largest public database of org charts. But the CRM apps it ships are for HubSpot and Salesforce only. There is no Pipedrive app, and the only other integration in its help centre is Greenhouse on the ATS side.

That is research, not account planning. It tells you who the executives are before you start selling. It does not know which of them is on your deal, which one is your champion, or that the quiet director of ops is the person who actually decides. And a PDF cannot be updated, filtered or reported on.

Best for: early-stage account research, used alongside a mapping tool rather than instead of one.

Option 3: WeMapSales, and a category confusion worth clearing up

WeMapSales appears in the Pipedrive marketplace and comes up in searches for mapping. It is a geospatial tool: geo-mapping of accounts, territory optimisation, territory management and reporting.

That is a different kind of map. It tells you where your accounts are. It says nothing about who is inside them. If you are looking for territory planning it may be exactly right. If you are looking for a buying committee, it is not the tool.

Geographic mapping and organisational mapping get grouped together in search results and are unrelated problems.

Option 4: Slides, spreadsheets and Miro

The most common answer in practice, and worth naming honestly rather than dismissing.

Export your persons from Pipedrive, draw the chart in PowerPoint, Lucidchart, Miro or FigJam, screenshot it into Slack before the QBR.

It costs nothing, and you can format it however you like. It also starts going stale the moment you finish it, has no connection to the CRM, does not scale past a handful of accounts, and lives in one person's file. When that person leaves, the account knowledge leaves with them.

That last point is the one that actually costs money. Our customer Opteamis had exactly this problem: five people, five personal org charts, none of them shared. Their case study is about what changed when the maps moved into Pipedrive, including what happened when a rep moved on.

Best for: teams with two or three key accounts and no budget, who accept the maps will be redrawn each time they are needed.

How to choose

The shortlist for a genuine buying-committee map in Pipedrive is short: vizrm or drawing it yourself. Three questions get you to an answer.

How big is the team, and how complex are the accounts? If you have one or two reps on the team and can live with updating org charts manually every thime they are used, going with miro or another mind mapping tool will be the cheapest solution.

Do you want the map inside Pipedrive or alongside it? This is the real fork. A tool that writes back to Pipedrive improves your CRM as a side effect of selling. A tool with its own database gives you a second system to maintain and a migration problem later. A slide deck gives you a picture nobody updates.

Where will the missing stakeholders come from? In practice, LinkedIn. If your reps are already prospecting there, the difference between a tool that captures those people into Pipedrive in one click and one that does not is the difference between a chart that fills in and a chart that stalls at the four people you already knew. Sila Nanotechnologies found the same thing when they scaled account mapping across regions, and their case study covers how that played out. More examples are on our customers page.

Our recommendation

For most Pipedrive teams, vizrm is the answer for a simple structural reason: it is the only tool built for Pipedrive rather than adapted to it, and it is the only one that puts the chart in the Organization sidebar with two-way sync. At €29.90 per user per month for Professional, on a per-seat basis for only the people who need it, it is a smaller decision than the alternatives make it look.

If you have three key accounts, draw them in Miro and revisit this when you have ten.

And if you are considering The Org for Pipedrive, the answer is that it does not integrate. Use it for research on your own, and map the actual committee somewhere that syncs.

"This tool has saved me hours! The fact it populates Pipedrive with changes and vice versa is a game-changer for us." — Rebecca Side, Director Business Development, ClaimDeck

Frequently asked questions

Does Pipedrive have a built-in org chart?

No. Pipedrive has no native org chart feature at any plan tier. It supports related organizations for company-to-company hierarchies and custom person fields you can populate manually, but there is no visual chart of people and reporting lines.

Does The Org integrate with Pipedrive?

No. The Org ships CRM enrichment apps for HubSpot and Salesforce only. There is no Pipedrive app. A Zapier template can attach a static org chart PDF from The Official Board to Pipedrive organizations, but that is a research artefact rather than a live account map.

What is the best org chart app for Pipedrive?

vizrm is the only tool in the Pipedrive marketplace purpose-built for Pipedrive, with the chart embedded in the Organization sidebar, two-way sync, engagement heatmaps and LinkedIn capture.

Can I build an org chart in Pipedrive for free?

Not inside Pipedrive. You can create custom person fields such as "Reports to" and "Buying role" at no extra cost and copy the data over to a free diagramming tool like Miro or FigJam, but you will maintain the chart by hand and it will not sync back.

How do I map a buying committee in Pipedrive?

Start by adding buying role and sentiment as custom person fields so the data is reportable. Then add a visual layer that reads those fields, so reps can see coverage rather than run a report to find it. Our Pipedrive setup guide walks through both steps.

Does vizrm work with HubSpot too?

Yes. vizrm supports both Pipedrive and HubSpot natively.

See it in your own Pipedrive sidebar. Start a free 14-day trial and watch your first Organization become a live org chart. No credit card required.
